Thanks Dan for all your hard work, and holding course when things looked bad.
It sure was not your fault Ubisoft decided to introduce this dreaded online requirement that almost completely sunk Silent Hunter V. I hope they have learned something, but looking at what is going on i would not bet on it.

I hope you will have a good time and interesting work in your new company, to work for and with
Thank you and your former team a lot !

Greetings,
Catfish

Good luck Dan-silent hunter has been a part of my life since 2005-so much lost time, so many late hours tracking convoys!

Good luck in your new project and:

On behalf of the 24th Flotilla, I give you our thanks, and a farewell for your new job endeavour. You have been an important part of the development of 3 of our favourite subsims, all of which have changed things in the way we sailed our boats, to have a modern approach at it, while also having fun.

On a personal note, I must also say that it's been a pleasure meeting you in person back in Copenhaguen in 2009, a nice opportunity to finally meet some of the men behind our sims (a thrilling event given my professional background), and someone with whom I found out to have so many things in common, specifically, our love for subs, and airsoft hehe.

See you around!

Although I have never met you, and you have never heard of me, your work was a big part of my life for years.

Thank you

Default Good luck

Well I am a little late but let me add the good luck wishes and fond memories of the 2008 subsim meeting. I look forward to hearing about your new project whenever that becomes feasible.

Default Thanks!

Yes, thanks for what you have done for the community here. However, I must say, that I find it scary that you think you're too old at 30 to do that kind of thing!
