My new favourite TV show and proof that I am not a very nice person

I am not a big TV watcher. I like my news in the mornings while I get dressed for work (nothing like starting the day depressed) and I really like watching Top Gear while I am making dinner. Other than that, TV is "meh" to me.

This week, I took some leave to work on my dissertation. While making/eating breakfast, I decided to see what was on daytime TV. Hmm over 1,400 channels and absolutely nothing to watch.

Even the history channels suck. As I was surfing through all 1,400 channels o' crap, I discovered a gem. An awesome TV show that I am now recording.

I have never laughed so hard watching TV before. What a great show. Just clips of stupid people doing stupid stuff and getting hurt.

I guess I am not really a nice person if I get so much amusement watching stupid people getting hurt.... but I do.

I am really a terrible person.

It this type of show strictly an American thing?

No. I'm fairly certain people all over the world enjoy watching Americans do dumb things.

It's like watching a train wreck, you know the ending will be horrific but you just can't take your eyes off of it.

Not just you, everybody likes to think they're smarter than somebody else and this is yet more proof. But one day they're gonna get to the end of the line and find the ultimate dumbo! Yeah it's trash telly, but if it makes you (and I) chuckle then it's working.
