Hello,
a number of SH4 models made it over to SH3, among them four US cruisers. I re-worked them a bit and painted some textures. Here are the results: Baltimore Class ![]() Northampton Class ![]() Brooklyn Class ![]() Cleveland Class ![]() Download: http://www.mediafire.com/file/q5g4h08xxqaplsb/SH4_US_cruisers_refitted.7z Good hunting -- the Frog Last edited by the_frog; 01-21-12 at 12:07 PM. |

Use Mission Editor to add them to the Scr_layer and the Rnd_layer (if you want.
Then use the merge facility for both. |

@Fish in the water:
I didn't do the conversion; that was done a few years ago by other people. I just re-worked them. @ the rest: Living Silent Hunter users do not need edit the campaign layers; the models are already in and will be repalced by the new ones. |

Looks promising.
One question: Does the Brooklyn class light cruiser fully replaces the one included in GWX3? Or does it need some additional tweaking? Thanks. Last edited by JuergenSchT; 11-13-11 at 11:12 PM. |

@JuergenSchT:
Good point -- both models of the Brooklyn use the same lable, CLBrooklyn. So, yes, the Brooklyn model will replace the one of GWX. Editing the names.cfg files and champaign files, thus, is not necessary. Just make sure not to use the commander for changing textures with time; the GWX textures will do not extraordinary well with the new model. |

If it refers to SH3Commander, I don't use it at the moment, so I guess it's not going to be a big issue. |
