Go to profile and enter your ICQ# on the ICQ line. The icon should show up automatically.

You should try Trillian:
http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/

It supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger and IRC.

Just added you as well. Oh and you should insert your ICQ number in the profiles field without the "-". Because some programs like trillian have problems with that.

With Trillian, you combine AOL, MSN, Yahoo!, ICQ, and IRC. All it did for me is increase the questions from my wife "Why do you need so many messengers?"

I taught her too much about computers because she started snooping around the log files.

Yahoo messenger is the best.

Easy to use and the latest program gives a lot of extras but you can hide them.

The new ICQ is just too fiddly and anyone can just send you a message....

That's what I use.

Now I wonder when google will bring out a messenger?

answer my own question : They do ...they are taking over.
