Default Hydrophone stuttering on convoy ?

Has anyone suffered from this problem when submerged and while hydrophone arrow is pointed to direction of convoy noise, you get sound stutters ?

Is there a fix for this ?

Edited:

Graphics is also stuttering a bit

I have not experienced this before, except when Gameshadow began to look for updates. What graphics card do you have?

A Nvidia 9500GT should be good enough for SH3. I don't see any other possibilities than to go back to previous bit settings. PS: But as we found out some minutes ago I don't know anything about these wierd computer stuff

I once had that with a 7600GS and updating the drivers sorted the issue for me IIRC.

but it doesn't make sence. While I was on Xp 32 bit I never had this kind of problem. Nvidia has separate drivers for use with 32 and 64 bit systems, but drivers for 64 bit XP OS are also the latest..

Sound hardware compression maybe ?

Heck I don't really know..

Not too sure myself if I'm to be honest because I progressed from XP Pro 32 bit single core to W7 64 bit quad core.
