Emblem Enigma

I used to know how to do this, but it's slipped my mind and I can't seem to locate a solution that works using forum search... Where do I put my 256x256 .tga file for my ship emblem and what do I name it?

Depends if the ability to display emblems was modded in or not on your installation. By default, emblems are not there.

I'm using the latest OM & OMEGU mods, which worked with emblems before. I just can't recall how I did it last time.

The emblems display location is likely already in the model, but you'll either have to use an existing emblem (by overwriting/replacing an original with your new graphic) or create a new emblem in the equipment.upc IIRC.

I have another problem. How do I place this emblem (I use OM+OMEGU) on my VIIB U-Boot? No place on my VIIB does not mark for this emblem and I can´t place this emblem on my U-Boot....

if you scroll down the equipment box, right below the decoy launcher slot you'll find the emblem slot. Drag your desired emblem to that box.

I see in JVP's post near the bottom left corner of his posted pic, a custom emblem entry. As I've never used it I seem to recall something in the OM docs about using your own emblems on your boat. That may be what you were asking earlier.

I took the long route and added a second emblem mounting position on my boat, created a custom emblem slot to use with the OM ships emblem (had to have the 7th 'Bull' on my tower), and a new graphic but never released it as a mod. Didn't want to step on any dev's toes for hacking their mods.
