Sound problem need some help

Ok so i got this problem when the submarine is driving thru the water on the surface with diesel engine on. the sound that plays for that effect is looping and it sounds terrible. I cant find the file that is affected by this. Does anyone know what sound file is used for the uboat when its driving on the surface. Its the basic sound for when your moving thru the water on the surface. My sound is looping and i cant find whats causing it. This is a game breaker for me. So please if someone can help me sort this out i would truly apperciate it. Thank you for taking the time to read my problem.

Hey buddy yeah i assumed that was it too but that file only handles the diesel engine noise when your outside the sub whether it be on the deck or free view. It doesnt handle the sound that you hear when the uboat moves thru the water. Thanks for answering

let me explain exactly what i mean so maybe someone knows where i can find the .wav and see whats wrong. The sounds im talking about is when the submarine moves thru the water on the surface at normal speed lets say 12-19 knts. Not the diesel engine sound, but the front of the uboat at the tip where it goes thru the water, theres usually a nice water crash/wave/misty sound. But my sound is one wave/crash/mist wav that is like 3 secs long and it loops. I can hear the end of the loop and the start of the loop. Its terrible , i dont know whats causing it. I looked thru the whole sound folder and i cant find one wav file that handles that sound. Does anyone know what controls that or where i can find the path by which it makes that sound. Thanks again for takking the time to help me.

Val de prova Submarin.wav..... is the sound the water makes when a wave crashes over the bow.

Vapor Siaj.wav....is the sound of the boat moving thru the water.

Hope this helps.

I think you probably have the volume too loud for that sound file and so notice the point of loop.Should be just loud enough to add ambiance.

How do i edit the the volume on the file?
this is the main reason i came back to sh3 was because of these sounds, there not even in sh4 and now my sound got messed up, it kills the whole experience. The wave sound if i remember correctly isnt in sh4, so what should i do. How do i edit it?

you can use my SDL editor app to edit the volume. Expand the node and go to it's volume entry. Double click the value to edit it

On the same topic as this i have been trying to sort out the sound in question as it seems to be tied to the engine power setting not the actual ships speed.

If i cruise at flank speed 27knots (with abilities upgraded)
i can hear the sound nicely then i cut engines it instantly stop the bow wake sound
i have noticed in SDL editor of darkwraiths that there is
Bow wake slow/fast
stern wake slow/fast
for other ships but for the subs there is only the one Vapor sja file.
and 1 entry for bow wake noise in Sound.sdl

also with SDL editor can value be pushed passed 100% as i have some effects sounds of mine that need a little more ummff
