On one hand anyone should be able to buy what ever they wish with their own money.

But, I can't help thinking of goodly things that could have been done with that money.

What i don't understand is why would they spend all that money on a boat thats 30 metres long and would normally cost around 2 million GBP? surely you'd go for something huge and shiny, not small and shiny.

Could be that the owner already has something big and shiny, and therefore has nothing to compensate for.
