And ofcourse several new servers and a great new website for subsim

The US won't have to move one finger unless Chavez strikes first, which is bad for the rest of Latin America, as he finances Coup attempts, guerrillas, drug smugglers and who knows what else, it would be much easier for everybody if the US assassinated Chavez, however, it is best, afterall, in the long term, to let him rot to death naturally, otherwise the myth would survive.

I agree with the great majority of predictions already posted here. However, I would add a few more predictions.

The North American economy in general will take a significant down fall well within the next 5 years. Most of the major manufacturers here in North America will turn to overseas manufacturing within 5 years. This next down fall in the economy will rival the economic down fall of 1991.

Personal debt and credit card debt will increase. Energy prices will increase for electricity where Smart Metering is installed. Taxes will increase and service charges will increase, as well new service charges being introduced in the energy sector.

Thank goodness there will be 5 more Subsim/Subclub meetings.

I'd think that's a given U-552Erich-Topp, except for the Smart Metering as I have no idea what that is.

The sleeping dragon stirs and finds its feet. China will get a grip of markets in which so far it has been
merely the manufacturing sub-contractor.

When marketing skills match their technological and production expertise, the West will shudder.

It looks as if there is still plenty of oil in Canada, mainly in Alberta. Some news sites have estimated that the reserves here may be larger than those in Iraq.

My personal belief is that the famous "Peak Oil" will not be the end of our civilization as some do predict, but it sure will cause a terrible economic crisis like in the 29 and later in the 70s. The peak oil crisis will mainly be the crisis of the gasoline automobile as private transport, since if excluding the consumption of oil for fuels would delay any peak for many years....

Wether we are able to develop another energy source to impulse electric cars is yet to be seen, but I'm pretty sure that in less than 10 years the cars we know today will have to dissapear from the roads.

This is a pretty important change coming, and I hate it because I own a classic BMW M3 I love a lot, and looks as if I'm going to part with it

Nothing is certain outside of:

1. The cost of living will continue to rise.

2. Regardless of who is in office, political scandal will continue unabated.
