Great !!
I was getting very tired of hearing the stock fanfare.

With the German National anthem I kept thinking of Michael Schumacher smiling on the podium.

There should be more fanfare mods!

This is excellent. All we need is a fanfare mod equivalent to the radio mod which gives us fanfares based on new ones from whiochever time you're playing. As i recall there was one written for Otto Kretschmer. T'would be fun.

thats easy to fix

step1 download any song you want
step2 rename the song as fanfara_01
step3 paste into programs/ubisoft/silenthunterIII/data/sound

Well, seeing as how it was posted almost a year ago, I guess that is to be expected...

You know what would be a good idea...someone grabbing all the different fanfares around and making an SH3Cmdr add-on using the Random folders. That way, you're likely to get a different fanfare at the start of *every* patrol...and hence less likely to be bored stiff...

Just an idea for someone...

You can download it from U-Boot RealSimulation:

http://u-boot.realsimulation.com/

Specifically from this web page:

I have four right now that I switch around manually...I can't figure out how to work the Random folders without making them date-based.

Random\0\Date\19390901\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\1\Date\19390901\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\2\Date\19390901\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\3\Date\19390901\Fanfara_01.wav
etc.

will make whichever one is selected available for the entire war. Change the date to whatever you want to force a tune to play only after that date passes.

Awesome! Thanks for explaining things to the computer-illiterate-programming-challenged-basically idiotic.

Some people are born stupid. I've had to work hard all my life to get this way.

Of course, I meant:

Random\0\Date\19390901\data\Sound\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\1\Date\19390901\data\Sound\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\2\Date\19390901\data\Sound\Fanfara_01.wav
Random\3\Date\19390901\data\Sound\Fanfara_01.wav
etc.

For some reason I left out a few folders.

radar help for changing the band's music

Hello everyone, I need your help with my SH3, because the brass band(who plays music while your leaving port) has no music, just playing the animation and a crowd cheering sound; Alright I will start at the beginning, I just play SH3 as always, and then I think to myself " what if I change the brass band's music", so I kinda experiment with the sound folder then I found this fanfara_01, its the brass band's music, then click the properties of the music, it's .Wav music files, now I know what to do, I download the Muss i den das boot ver. and convert to .wav file then rename to fanfara_01 and replace the original fanfara_01 same as I did to the sound mod I have(thompsen soundpack 3.2cg), now there's no music the brass band playing pls help
