I've taken an extended break from my SH3 career, which I plan to get back to starting tonight, but one question I have is with WO assistance on torp calcs.
How do you aim a torpedo to hit a ship at a certain spot. normally when I lock on a target it aims for the midsection, but if I choose not to lock on but place the periscope over the ship where I want to hit it. As long as the p-scope is on the target ship I can get a calculation for it. Am I correct in this method or do I manually have to aim torpedoes to hit in a certain spot? |

You will need to unlock the scope and manually place the crosshairs over the desired spot

Input target information.
Turn scope so the Gyro Angle reads "000". When your desired target spot reaches the center crosshair of the periscope, Fire. (Best to pre-open all desired tubes). Good hunting. |
