Jimbuna approached the entrance to the chapel and before entering gave a small mental prayer to his maker for help in his search.
As he entered he saw wooden bench seating in two rows on either side, perhaps sufficent to seat forty or so people and at front centre a wooden pulpit with a large brass looking crucifix standing atop it. Behind the pulpit on the brick wall hung a painting of the fallen madonna with the big boobies (Allo Allo, sorry couldn't resist). He formulated his search plan quickly...down on all floors and check each bench for anything hidden underneath or covering a cellar door perhaps, then on to the pulpit for a similar examination. |

Damn, this puts a wrench in the gears. I wonder if I can move these rocks? *makes attempt*

*The enigma is walking firmly towards the North Turret*
So, that SS creep wanted to reveal something about this place. He learned that at St. Sophia's Nunnery. Nobody seems to be willing to learn what that might be. I'm going to find out, no matter what. *At the N. Tower, Enigma slips through the breach and continues his way....*

*While crossing the outer ward*
I need to think strait forward. That's the only way to solve the puzzle. Some new facts:

*while walking*
It seems like the fog is less dense at the North East side of the castle. I never noticed this before, but then again, I never had the chance to take a hike here. *Some shrubbery is covering The Enigma from the castle*

I'm making headway. However, is this worth the effort. What other part of the mudball can I protect myself? *thinks of the beach and makes way to there*

*To ease himself, Enigma tries to whistle a German song*
Pfhhhiii Whiiii PHooooo Whoooo *A black crow is alarmed and flies away while protesting the disturbance 'Cra Cra Cra'* Nah, that doesn't help, I better keep low profile. You never know what's behind the next turn of this path. *step, step, step*

*Enigma enters the 'verbotene wald'*
That's handy, a nice path is inviting me to use it. So be brave Enigma and take the easy way. Last days have been hard enough. *The trees have grown up to the sky, keeping away the poorly shining sun. It's becoming darker while Enigma enters the wood further.* Darn, there must be some water in the neighborhood. I can hear it's sound and it's getting a bit foggy again. *There he discovers a small wooden bridge*

*After crossing the stream, the road turns right and then left again.
Enigma's heart is pounding like hell* O boy, what have I started. It's a really creepy dark wood I'm walking in. I do hope the nunery is not that far away anymore. *The Enigma wants to end his nightmare and starts marching* Eins Zwei, Eins Zwei, Eins .... Nah, was ist den da zu sehen (What's that)?? *After the last right turn, the nunnery reveals itself* OK, taht's a typical building like one would expect to see in a Frankenstein movie. Shall I enter or shall I leave, that's my question. *Schutze Enigma is becoming weak and he wonders what to do next*

*Crosses the river, reaches the beach and spends a long time staring at the sea.*
I wonder. Perhaps it would be better just to jump in and let the waves take me. Would certainly be cleaner than being torn to shreds by a monster. Who could it be though. I thought Nisgeis but he's gone. So too has the captain. It seems strange that Hauptmann Rear is now communicating via tannoy - perhaps he's changed into something. Ducimus seems to be missing all the time - where? August and Enigma seem constantly on edge - guilty conscience perhaps. AVGWarhawk seems to have gone mad - he's talking about weapons that don't even exist. MookieMookie seems to have hid behind the captain's shadow - is that purely because he's a sub-lieutenant or something more sinister? Jimbuna has scared these things off twice now - is that one beast recognising another? Task Force and Pioneer are again being too quiet and as for Takeda, he was acting strange as soon as we got here. I suppose I should put more thought into who the guilty party is, but a death by firing squad is a mercy compared to being shredded by a beast. I guess Takeda then. Yes Takeda. At least the rest of us are warriors. He's just a journalist, in the wrong place and time. ((Lynch vote for Takeda)) |

*arrives to the beach* Time for some trench warfare! I will have my back to the water. To the front of me a open beach into field. I will place a weapon at several points along my trench. I will sit tight. The beast or beasts from England are in for a rude awakening. Madness I say...madness. *beings digging trench and preparing.... *The picture is quite clear. There is really is no cooperation here. All command structure is gone. Men are wondering aimlessly. How can anyone protect others if none are banding together? As soon as the sun is up men scurry away like coachroaches at the flick of the kitchen light. Well, they can call me mad because I have armed myself. I will be the last man standing....

The need to survive is over ridden by the need for knowledge. The animal, or is it animals, that are killing us must have some origin on the island. With the Petty Officer dead there must be something local that triggered this. The castle, has to be the key, there must be somethign in, or about the castle, which has brought on the onslaught. If it can be identified, maybe there is still time to stop the next event.
Pioneer makes his way through the south gates and immediately turns left and enters the widows den. The large wooden door creaks open and he peers inside, before stepping inside and quietly sealing the door shut behind him.
