Download Amount ?
Recently I had to re-download SH3 and my intention was to re-download the mods that I needed for the game to be to my satisfaction .
When suddenly I get this message , Sorry ! You have exceeded your daily download amount . Is there a new rule regarding downloads ? Is this temporary ? If not ? Shall we need ration cards as they used during the home front , this would add realism to the game ! Mind you I am not peeved , just surprised and curious to find out ? ![]() |

posted something similar in this forum or SHIV forum.
I have been playing sh3 since it came out but reinstalled and lost all my mods...also had been getting into SHIV more recently and trying to get it modded up. I'd pay a monthly membership fee if I had to for unlimited bandwidth lol.

Bandwidth costs Neal money so there is a limit to what can be downloaded in any given 24 hour period.
Go back to the downloads tomorrow and grab a few more. |

Something else you can do in the meantime is check out this site:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=171019 He's done an excellent job of collecting mods for the Silent Hunter series. What I do is archive every mod I download in a special folder. That way I always have them handy if I need to reinstall. I even keep a separate SH3 Data folder set up the way I like it. Saves a lot of time and trouble.

If the download limit is 8Mb, does that mean that all files in the download section above this limit are no longer available?

Backup, backup, backup! (Your downloads)
![]() And no, I've just downloaded Torplexed pics, at 11.9 Mb with no problem. It was a struggle finding something both large enough to download, and something that I wouldn't mind downloading.

IIRC there is an upload limit and ftp settings are required from Neal to allow larger file sizes.
