Default Running higher than 1024x768 resolution?

It has been a very long time since I played SH3 which is by far the best to dated, has anyone figured out how to run the resolution higher than 1024x768?

Thanks in advance, Systemlord.

A question about step 5 , what do they mean by, "screenshot path"?

Thank you, Systemlord.

While there, add your desired screeshot path to the line below (please note this mod disables the Ctrl + F11 function, you must use PrtScr):

screenshotPath=C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\SH3 Screens (for example).

Thats just the folder that you designate for the screenshots. You can put them anywhere.

I have heard from some that this mod or whatever you want to call it has issues, is this true?

IIRC only with some Windows 7 setups, though I am not familiar with the details. Maybe someone else can provide those- many threads about that here.

I'm running the game on a 22" screen @ 1680 x 1050 by simply setting the screen to automatic.

Is this automatic on your 22" monitor?

Here it is at the left hand side of 5 buttons.

Apologies for the blur blurry image but I forgot to press the macro button on the camera

Be advised: Using the hi-res mod may result in your firing torpedoes by accident when clicking out of the periscope/uzo screen, and it may eliminate your ability to take screen captures.

I get a "Program stopped working" box immediately upon starting SH3 + GWX 3, Steam version. Tried a bunch of different resolutions with the same result.

Running Win7 64. Prior to installing the mod, I could not get the game to run unless I manually changed the res to 1024 x 768. Any thoughts?
