You're right, and that is a practice that should stop when the topic is still relevant (ie mods, game mechanics, etc). However, when it is a 'dead' topic such as 'ZOMG, DRM is in game WTF!', then the necromancy label with likely still apply.

well sometimes it bugs me more when a person posts in a mod thread from 2008 and gets testy because the mod link wont work and nobody (meaning the mod maker) will respond to his request
