Reading those names on the list made me go pretty much WTF until I checked the date of the first post. Then I realized that I remember all those names and understood why they were on the list.

I feel...old...

Edit: Huh? So I have been registered on this forum for five years and reading for at least six. And what useful have I achieved in life during that time? Where did it go? Why isn't anything different? The fine print didn't say anything about this, I swear. I want my five years back!

well barring some terrible accident im 19, so shouldn't i be here the longest?

I say we set up a subsim liquor ritual of sorts, Like the doolittle raiders. Somebody buys a bottle of Hennessey and the last 2 get to toast the ashes of this board.

and also, 2007? holy necropost batman! some of those names are gone already.

Not to complain in petty fashion, but how was I not on that list?

hmm, just saw this classic post

the last 10 sailors at subsim 2011 edition:

Jimbuna - "My post count, my post count, I have to maintain my post count!"
Steve - "if I can't out post Jim, I will out stay him"
frau kaleun - "one last lol cat, one last funny pic"
Takeda Shingen - "must stay, must make list this time!"
Vendor - "one more link.... one more link...."
Skybird - "The world is ending? Don't disturb my long post!"
nikimcbee - "a few posts left until I make rear admiral"
Feuer Frei! - "MUST, POST, MORE NEWS, THAN, VENDOR"
TheDarkWraith - "almostttt ttttthere, SH5 supermod almost done"
and Neal Stevens - "new world order, muhahahaha. But first, I must amass my followers from subsim"

Interesting that most of the motley crew of ten are still about. Jim eventually overhauled Steve. Ahhh the memories of a simpler time.
