I bet this has been asked a million times, but I've searched and can't find a thread on it. Is there a way to extract the sound files from an .ogg. I would like to add some of the music to my iTunes library.
Thanks. PS: I hate to patrol some of the shallow waters east of England and north of France. When I get detected, I'm toast. |

You may use a program to convert to ogg.

I want to be able to take an ogg file and turn it into mp3 or wav so I can play it in iTunes or any other media player.

Yes but the file must be converted so that it is the right format, thus ogg.till mp3 and so on or vice versa

A good program for converting something to .ogg will probably also convert from .ogg to something else.

I guess I'm just too dense. I have files that end in .ogg. They are song files. I want to convert them to .mp3. What program will do this?

Another good one is Audacity:
http://portableapps.com/apps/music_v...acity_portable Not only will it edit and convert but it's also portable so you can run it off a flash drive. ![]() |
