haveing a problem installing gwx3.0 gold on to shIII

hi guys

I have install the Grey wovles 3.0 Gold on to my computer and started up the game but when the red bar down the bottom of the screen go's to 100%

the message say: There is a new ( not implemented ) page:< page ingame options>!

I had no idea what the message ment. So i have unstall all silent hunter 3
files and restalling them including GWX 3 Gold patch and the same message
came up again.

I think there may be a problem with the 1.4v patch because when i try to
install it every thing go's to planed until it got to around 5% and it says:
Silent HunterIII/data/interior/Nss_uboat2/NSS_ubo and it wont let me finsh the update so i have try again and same result.

Could you please help me with these problems.

Not sure if this is a help but make sure you've got the right version of the 1.4 patch as there are differnt versions:

I do not know what your OS is, but if Vista and'/or Win7 you might need administrator credentials to install the patch and GWX mod. If you don't it might leave some files untouched.

It is also possible your SH3 is already patched...check it out by clicking on the SH3 exe and examining 'Properties'.

i have tried your methods of installing the gwx3.0 gold and one of the methods was to download the 1.4v patch from http://www.silenthunteriii.com/uk/updates.php

i have try to restalling the 1.4v patch onto silent hunter III from that web site and same result came back Silent HunterIII/data/interior/Nss_uboat2/NSS_ubo.

another method i have tried is to check if silent hunter III already have the 1.4v patch. it turns out that it has 1.0v patch.

when i investergate silent hunter III/data/interior/Nss_uboat2/Nss_ubo problem i think the one the files could be missing in silent hunter III which is causing all these problems

can you guys please help

I have no file by that name in my game and it runs fine, so I do not think you are missing a file.

Delete the NSS file.

Which NSS folder do i delete because i have many NSS folders under that name and where can i locate it.

Open yout search programs and files function (bottom left hand corner and type in 'silent hunter III/data/interior/Nss_uboat2/Nss_ubo'...it should take you straight to it.

I can not even install the 1.4b patch. My install media was badly damaged during my last house move, so had trouble with some files during install. I selected "Ignore Error" to complete the install. Current SH3.exe properties version 1.0.0.1 and game does run. No files for data\Textures\Tnormal\tex were installed either.

The game runs but can not use any good MODs.

Now Patch returns error "dat\Campaigns\Campaign\Campaign_LND.mis: unkown version."
I have tried all flavors of patches but none work.

Privateer is mailing me a new SHIII. Hopefully it will be here in a few days.
