Don't worry about the download time. Just consider it a way to build the tension

I have a 3 Ghz CPU with 1 gig of RAM broadscreen laptop, Vid ATI X600. The game always loads in a few minutes, bypassing intros etc. I also use an optical mouse which reacts fine, but when using TC the keys and mouse are very sluggish.
The vid card is the main issue here I think. Same goes for the accessing speed of the HD. If this is the bottleneck the game takes long to load. There must be a way to force the graphics into RAM and not to the pagefile. I also use hyperthreading. BEware that when using IuB the framerate drops due to the extended view and 3D rendering. |
