My VIIA went 200 max , my VIIB also went 200 meters max . Now Bdu gave me a VIIC and it can also dive no further then 200 meter max. I think there is a bug in the MO megamod because these boats could go different depth , the VIIC for example had a crush depth of about 250 meters. In stock this was randomized by in MO it seems to be the same for all of the boats. Oh yeah and my Engineer needs to get a luger buller in his head because he keeps telling me we can go 250 meters without problems

in stock you can go to 190 meteres without taking damage, although this can be increased by your officer's abilities. I have been able to ease down in short dips to 200-210 meters with minimal damage.
MO uses DDGRN's mod, "historical u-boat" I think which changes the crush depth. I don't use it so can't comment. In RL, a dive by a VIIc to 200-220 meters was considered a very deep dive. In WW2, there was only one recorded dive (U-331 in nov.41) where a VIIc went to 250 meters and survived to fight another day. I use the stock settings since I am comfortable with the stock crush depth.
