Okay, listen... The latest LWAMI mod has a new skin/model for the Akula 1. The Akula 2 has the old, ugly one. HOW can I get a new playable skin for my Akula? I have been looking and searching all over the place for a way to get a new model. Please help or direct me. Why do every other submarine get a new skin but the Akula doesn't?
Just got back to this game. Love it. Thanks for the help.

From what I've heard, a new playable Akula model will be implemented in the next LwAmi release. Molon or TLAM can confirm, that's just what I think I remember.

for 3.10, we didn't apply the new Akula model to the playable Akulas because we could not animate the torpedo tube doors.
For the next release, we are applying the new models to the playable Akulas even though we have not solved the animation issue.
