Extend the threshold?

I believe that units disappear around 500 meters or so. Can someone extend this threshold so units can go below this?

Im not one hundred percent sure, but i think that in order to do this,
you need to go into: Data/Library/USSubParts/Sensors_sub_US.dat
and try toying with the values in S3D.
