Default Annoying problem making contact

Hi,

Recently, I've been having a really annoying problem.
I'm using TDW's UI's mod... and everytime I find a contact
on hydro, I try to do an end run on it outside 8000m from
target, as soon as I pass them, and start to close in on my
attack position, they turn around and go the other way.

Now they can't have seen me, as they are over 8000m away
(and in TDW TDC UI - that's the min dist for ship to spot sub).
These are warships, destroyers... they are defending a spot SW
of england at entry to liverpool harbour areas, and I want to
eliminate them. They do not know I'm there, as they don't
try to attack... they are just on patrol.

Any ideas anyone as to what's causing this?

Another annoyance, is I have setup to attack a convoy
that is closing on my position. I then save it, and close the
game. Next time I come back... the convoy and all my marks
have disappeared. Anyone know why? Here's the list of mods installed.

8000 meters is the default distance at which a ship will send out a contact report w. TDW's mod. In game, a ship may spot you on the surface from a lot farther off on a clear day. When I do a run around on the surface, I stay completely out of sight of the convoy or at most, at the very edge of visibility.

The problem with the marks disappearing from the maps upon a reload is hardcoded. It's been there in every SH game.

The IRAI part of MO is doing this.

IRAI I know (Don't use it)... but what is MO?

This was in an intense storm at night in heavy rain, with very high waves, my boat was partly suberged due to 88% hull damage caused by something
unknown in deep water. They were completely BVR (beyond visual range)
and at the extremes of hydro. I actually did 3 end runs on them,
crossing and recrossing the entrance n each time this happened.

I'll try further out...

If you use MO means you use IRAI in the same time (it is included)
