Default Isn't the situation with pirates in the Indian ocean "out of control" already?

http://www.spiegel.de/international/...742685,00.html

Well, isn't it?

It's not encouraging to hear our politicians always lecture on what we are not allowed to do, while they have nothing to say on how to tackle pirates increasing their activities. Piracy pays off. And that is why the problem constantly grows. And while human rights activists in hamburg demonstrated for the human rights of captured pirates that went on trial, they care absolutely nothing at all for those 800 hostages that are in captivity and get beaten, tortured, and intimidated by threatening death to them. Not one word on them.

Hear Hear Skybird.

Isn't Piracy just a form of terrorism? Isn't the US's standard policy to not negotiate with them? Why aren't the militaries going in there to take these ships back? Didn't South Korea just pull off a wonderful rescue? Why aren't the rest of the nations? Are we really going to offend any of the local governments in the area that are condoning the pirates by not stopping them?

I just don't get it.

Bigmouth" is one of the most notorious pirate commanders. The UN Security Council believes he has close ties to Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi.
For beginners, that is the Gadhafi

- who was involved in the Lockerbie bombing,
- who was blackmailing Switzerland by takiung hostages until the Swiss payed, because his son is a bastardish azzole and a thug and showed that when visiting Switzerland,
- who was threatening the execution of I think Bulgarian doctors and medics over charges they intentionally infested patients with AIDS where in fact the health system of Lybia failed to maintain basic hygienic standards,
- who has kicked out the UNHCR last year,
- who has predicted and demanded that Europe will be taken over by Islam through demographic warfare through mass migration and outbreeding the Christians in their own home countries,
- and who has tried to blackmail Europe last year and demanded additonal 5 billion Euros, else he would open the floodgates of mass migration even wider,

and who nevertheless get payed by the EU with yearly finacial support.

Because Pirates are now taking hostages on deck and beating them when a TF 151 warship approaches. Very quickly it could escalate to executions.

That will be their downfall. As long as it remains a threat they can bargain, but if they start executions they can be destroyed without remorse. This is going to get very ugly soon.
