Default What gives??

So I created a Kaulen soley for the purpose of trying to raid each harbour when their is a capital ship inside of it.

So I get to December 22, 1939 and set sail for Loch Ewe as according to the ship dates and locations handy chart Jimbuna gave me the Revenge and Nelson should be moored up there. I make it there by the night of the 24th.

So I head on in, sneak in at night to find that the BB Revenge is not there.

According to the chart, they enter in November of '39 and the Revenge doesnt leave until January 5th, 1940??

A similar thing happened at Scapa, only once when I snuck in I saw two Capital ships moored there, a Revenge class, and the Hood. I didnt sink the Hood because I didnt fire more than 4 torps.

So I reloaded the patrol and tried again and walah, no battleships!

What gives?? Lol

I don't know for sure how the scripting works, so I can't really help. Of course I also never do that kind of headhunting because I'm forever stuck in my rut of trying to behave realtically (as I see it).

I do behave realistically in my normal career, I just wanted a side career to have the fun of sinking battleships.

And thanks for the corrections

I wasn't condemning you at all, just explaining why I don't have the answer.

And can understand why you would want to do that. Sometimes ya just gotta.

Didnt think you were condeming me! haha

But I have to say it spawned out of a curiousity of seeing other people report sinking BBs, CVs, and CLs quite a bit playing realistically when truthfully I think I've only ever seen a cruiser in a large convoy I just wanted to bag me a big fishy for once!

Don't worry, I've been at this game for over 3 years and have yet to sink a single BB or CV, as I rarely see them. Just stick to convoy hunting and......

BE MORE AGGRESSIVE

You would need to interrogate the SCR and RND layers in ME....easy enough once you get the hang of it.

I'm afraid I can't comment on your screen setup because mine has always worked on auto (22" widescreen) but if you click on file then select the layer you require as in the picture below it should show you everything that is scripted into the game/mod you are using.

There is a readme that comes with the MEand version 2 is available from my FF account.
