I am wondering what is the best setting for main.cfg
I was reading the sobbers main.cfg and i copied. For me it is working fine until now. What do you think guys? What is the best main.cfg setting? you don't want to keep TDW Mines enabled. It was only for preview and will cause problems with other mods.

Hi,
1)The positions 2,3,4 are overrited by position 39. So if you want to have them install after position 39 2)The position 46 it is already included in 06_Magnum_Opus_v0_0_1 so you do not need (when you are in nav map click the small blue icon from the top right corner - you will have the the ploter) 3) The position 42 is in conflict with 6 and 49 (in fact al three of them are in conflict - download my patch from here and replace the position 42: http://www.filefront.com/17853796/Wa...undFix_1.0.rar This mod, as you already know, it is not fixed completly yet. 4) You use some mods that i never heard of them or tested - if you have time i want to tell med waht is doing very mod that i do not know 5) you are missing some cool mods (in my opinion) 6) I think the best way is that i will make a list and we will try to make a cool colection for both of us 7) I have changed the main.cfg like SOBER did and i like more now this way to play with time compresion Main.cfg path C:\Users\pc\Documents\SH5\data\cfg main.cfg changes: TimeStop=0 RealTime=1 LandProximity=1,32 CriticalDamage=1,32 CrewEfficiency=256 AirEnemyDetected=1,32 SoundEffects=8 CharacterAnim=32 FriendDetected=1,32 EnemyDetected=1,32 RadioReport=1,32 Particles=32 PrayState=1,32 HunterState=1,32 3DRender=32 Maximum=256,32 8) i have changed contacts.cfg to have more talktive sound guy but i think you already did that 9) i will put my list here and we can start to compare and chose the best mods ![]() |

I just enabled the MO mod ![]() By the way: 1) you do not need position 16_NewUIs_TDC_6_3_0_No_Hydrophone_On_Surface_No_Ai rcraft_Spotting and position 43_Conus' Graphic Mod 1.0 - both are already in MO 2) did you changed the MO dificulty before you enabled (he is 100% by default - if not,you will have a lot of trouble to excape from DDs dept charges) ![]() Best regards! ![]() |

I am already use Frannys Texture mod V.02 - very nice (the posters with hitler in bunker, the flags, the change for my interior subs - etc) - i like it very much! Your mod list seems ok for me (no sound conflicts). Thanks! |
