Help, Broke The Periscope Crosshair...

So I was working on a little mod to make the periscope default magnification level match the external view (the periscope view made targets look further away then they actually are). I changed the default magnification for both Attack and Observation periscope to 2.5x and by doing so it broke the top and side crosshair lines with the little dashes on them. I can only see the numbers 10 now...

I guess I might have to change something in the Menu_1024x768? Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks,
WolfyBrandon

Default

The graticle scales so as to be visible with a field of view of 40º and a 1.5x zoomby default. By increasing the default zoom to 2.5x you made it larger in the screen, and as such it went out of what the periscope hole mask lets you see. In other words, your reticle is there but out of the scope circle you see. Return default zoom to 1.5x and you will get it back.

Is there a setting I can change to make it work with the new 2.5x zoom? I want to keep the new setting. Optionally, and only if I can't get the lines back, is there a way to remove the the numbers "10" on the scope? I would rather scale the lines back to where they are visible though.

As you zoom in, the image gets bigger and the reticle also does. You would need to close a bit the field of view (camera aperture parameter) but then you would again see a smaller image. The only other thing you can do is modify the periscope background and make the visible part of it (Alpha channel) bigger.
