After several months SH5 playing, I switch to SH4 so I can compare.
What mods can I best use this time to realisties as possible to play? thanks |

![]() I would say, it's more up to how you behave, i.e. how do you treat the boat and crew, how you react etc., than a matter of what mod you use... Otherwise there are loads and loads of mods. A couple: RFB, OM, 9D2, IJN, TMO... Have a look around. Neal has just reported, the board is safe for another half year... ![]() |

For what it's worth this is my setup and about as realistic as possible, course cutting cams and contacts off makes it more realistic.

Armistead has an excellent mod set up. Where can I get the ship debris mod with dead bodies? That sounds like a killer mod if there ever was one.
Now, to get things hopping we need a modder to add mako, white, hammerhead, tiger, white tip and bull sharks to the mod, with them appearing on a random basis when men are in the water. Torpedo firing, explosions, blood and guts, oh my! And, we can watch and delight in screaming sailors being ripped apart. (A shark's idea of a vacation!) If the blood in the water isn't enough, I suggest turning off the computer, driving to San Francisco and jumping in the ocean at Baker Beach, where a swimmer in the 1950s was killed by a large shark, assumed to a Great White, as the GW's hang around the nearby Farallon Islands. There you can daydream about your exciting and realistic SH4 mod setup. The game's a killer. (Is it time I checked into Happy Dale Sanitarium again?)
