About mods search and installation

Hi, mates: I have the SH4 with TMO 2 plus RSRDC, plus Vickers interiors plus speech overhaul. I have some questions about modding (my principal experience is in SH3 mods...):

- I like to add some ships (for fun) in my installation. Will appear the ships added ramdomly in my campaigns or it´s needed scripting (as SH3)? For example, I want to add some ships of Operation Monsun and FOTRS in my SH4 TMO RSRDC. Can I see those ships in campaign (or missions, or patrols?

- I want to add some sounds (voices, interior ambient sounds, some stuff similar to Thomsen sound pack or Das Boot sound for SH3). Is there some mod for that?

- I like to add (for fun) some aircrafts in the allied bases (my bases, Pacific Campaign); I have patrol aircrafts in FOTRS (other installation of SH4) but TMO (and RSRDC) haven´t that planes.

Others would better answer. There are many sound mods in the mod forum. A good one in EAX, it adds some sounds, but mostly changes the depth of sound. There are several other sound mods. Pouls has many different sounds, creaks, ect.., many really good, a few silly, such as the german "alarm" voice when crash diving. However, the silent running voices are great, really make you feel like you need to be quite. If a torp hits you get some good sounds, but implies the ship is sinking, someone saying the bulkheads are crashing, lots of sinking sounds, ect..but sometimes a torp hit doesn't sink a ship, but you get the sounds. A lot of G...Damns for when a torp misses if that stuff offends. OTT, many great sounds, a few unwanted. I just deleted sounds I didn't like and replaced them.

If the ships aren't included, you would obviously have to add them to the air and sea files. My guess is they would randomly generate from there, if not would have to be added, someone will have to answer.

Many thanks. The EAX sounds is for SH3, I think. There is a version for SH4?

An option is Poul Sound mod, but the links are death.

Yesterday I downloaded the Pouls Sound, is a link of Depositfiles. But I don´t remember where is it...Please, search in SUBSIM with the word "pouls sound", there is a thread with the link.

Both mods are in the mods forum, sticky at top, use the line at bottom for additional mods and look in the Mods options/sounds forum.

Pouls is there, but link not working. Strange, I just DL it again a few days ago so keep trying.

Do read, may just be for both, but seems suitable more for 4. Doe's have the German "Alarm" when you crash dive, but all other voices are english. Not really a German accent mod, so it works with 4 just fine with the PTO.
I removed the "Alarm" line. You'll find many sounds in both sound and gameplay options, easy to add.
