Default Very odd

Three times I've tried to leave for my patrol, and on each occasion during my transit out of harbour, something has happend where i get heavy flooding. I even had a breached hull on one of the occasions and my uboat sank.

Can anyone explain this?

Could be. If you are using one of the versions of Rubini's Harbor Traffic mod, or the one in the latest RUB, you might have friendly minefields. If so, you need to follow the escort out of the harbor. He knows the way.

Beware!
Mines are unhealthy to U Boats and all living things riding in them.
They don't call them "escorts" for nothing.

I've gone out of port before and not botherd to follow the escort and not had any problems at all.

There are also a bunch of maps in the SilentHunterIII folder (if you're using RUb) that show where all the mines and nets are.

BTW, If you're using the Harbor Traffic mod, it does include an optional mine-less Campain_SCR.mis file. Works very well for me.

You could also be getting hit by airplanes. I am told that Rubini's Harbor mod is responsible for air strikes on your sub while you are near your home port. Most upsetting, I say.
