I was hoping that the "big announcement" would be the democratic party acknowledging that Bush is no longer president and hasn't been for a while.
Yeah, there is a lot that can be blamed on Bush, but not everything. And certainly not any decision made after he left office. If the Democrats are intending on running another "Bush sucked, I am not like Bush" campaign in November, they will drive away the Independents.  November will be all about what the Democrats have done and not done.
