Hi!
I had the problem from the start (but have chosen to ignore it initially) that the trees at the coastlines where all trapped in a rectangular area that is not completly transparent... This is not all the time and I thought it might be connected to a fog issue (?)... This looks extraordinarily ugly and I really would love to find a fix for it. Maybe I can provide a screenshot tonight when I am back home... Anyone had the problem? I am running at max settings, 2x AA and several mods (I can post the list of mods also tonight). I am using a ATI 5770 Card with newest Catalyst. All the settings for AA and AF are "Application controlled" in the driver. Any help? Meldric |

Its a mod doing it . I had it a while ago but cannot remember what mod was doing it .

Not so sure a mod is necessarily to blame. I happened upon this while playing with settings in CCC on my new ATI card, and the boxes came and went unrelated to mods.
For a start, try switching off application control on AF and see what happens. Edit: I use an ATI 5770, AA is app controlled, AF is 16X, Catalyst AI is Standard, Mipmap detail is on Quality, vrefresh is app controlled and AA mode is multi sample. |

I'm running a 5770 too and actually never had a problem with boxes around the trees. All my settings are set to custom levels and nothing is controlled by the application. It sounds like it's a AF issue, but I'm at work so I can't check it. Try choosing your own levels in Catalyst and see if that works.

I have now checked your settings and it looks way better now. Unfortunatly, I get only < 20 Frames now... I need to tweak a bit...

Try disabling Conus' Graphic Mod 1.1 and see if that fixes it . It definately is one of your mods doing it , one of the devs said so months ago .

If I remember correctly it was the AilRain mod which causes it. I noticed that the OP with the problem also has that mod listed. I'd try removing it and see if works.

Thank you for the hints! I have now set the options in CCC as mentioned above, choose shadows to be 50% and set AF to 8 (instead of 16). Now it seems to be fluent and I haven't seen the boxes anymore (although I was in nothing like fog yet). If they reappear, I try removing the AILRAIN mod.
