Default Flooding repair

Hi all,

1st thanks so much for this community, I'm new to the SH series and loved the III & IV and was disappointed with the 5th episode, but YOU FOLKS SAVED THE GAME, i really mean it, with a couple of mods from around here my SH5 is playable and enjoyable.

The other day i suffered a heavy flooding in Fore Torpedo compartment and couldn't do anything about it, so i wanted to know if maybe i've missed something i shall have done in order to "repair" or at least constrain the flooding ??

Also, with TheDarkWraith TDC mods, the original TDC dude is always in the full middle of my Attack Periscope, anyone knows if i can move him or so?

Thanks for all,
regards,
m.

you have three options to get him to move:

- option 1: press the 'L' key to hide the messagebox and have him move to a more favorable position or
- option 2: edit the options file to make the XO TDC dialog box draggable. Once draggable you can drag it anywhere onscreen you want or
- option 3: hide the XO TDC dialog box by clicking the XO TDC icon in the expanded top right bar (click the little circle under the clock to get the expanded bar to show)

1st of all..... Welcome aboard

As far as flooding.... You can ask one of your crew... cant remember which one, but you can ask him to reduce flooding time. But apart from that i think its all automatic now... in SH3 you had to put more crew into the compartment. but SH5 has now way to move crew around.

As to floodoing, you have 2 dialog options when talking to Chief Engineer:
- more crew to damage control (sends more crew to damage control, damage is repaired faster, other sub stations operate significantly worse),
- "repair it aor we die" [or similar] - this active skill temporarily give the damage crew control personnel additional powers, they are supposed to work harder when this is active.

Is there a way or even need to shut the compartments doors?

I mean by a hot key type or mod not the run to all doors and close em.

Just in case the entire sub fluds and go's to davy jones locker!
