Even if you have to wait, one day you'll have a system good enough to run the game with justice. Keep the faith, Herr Kaleun. Just consider your current down time as an extended shore leave.

This is the first forum that is so friendly. I have been on a lot of them (no not just bragging about my system all the time ) and not a single one ever offered such help. Thanks guys you really are great.

Doolar Semler isn't that card a bit to expensive? It still costs quite a lot here I checked. And isn't it pci-e? Thanks for your help.

I'm sure nobody here is uber-flash with the cash, but we all want the same thing, for SH (all flavours) to be enjoyed to the best of it's ability, and we'll all do our best to get people beyond scraping by.

Have you discovered what RAM you can take yet?

Are you sure it still is expensive where I live.(I checked).

So do you want a cat? Hes fluffy, loves to hug eats a lot and is rather useless

Now if I'm serious I would love that card but I'm not really sure what I could offer you in exchange. As you already know all my electronics are fubar.

So I'm a bit lost know.

Didn't see your post Herr-Berbunch.

This is what cpuz is showing. So it means that my ram is ddr. When I view individual plates in cpuzz it shows frequency latency and what not so I'm not sure what you need to know? Sorry if there are some typos this keyboard is driving me mad. (My sis tought it's a cool idead to order a 2 $ silicon keyboard from Honk Kong, but well it's at least better than on screen keyboard)

Right, looking at that graphic, you appear to have DDR400 (also known as PC3200). BUT, and that is a big but, I suggest you check out www.crucial.com and run their memory advisor tool from their homepage before trying to stick anything in your PC.

If you can take PC3200 you should be able to take PC2700, which although slightly slower it's something I've got sat at home. But run that tool above first and let us know, it should let you know exactly what type and how much you can take!

And is your 320 Gig HDD totally bustedbrokerfuffled? And is that what OS/SH3 are on or are they on your 74 Gig HDD? Or split between the two?

Try running something like CCleaner from Piriform to get rid of any unwanted files (temp folders, things like that), get rid of any programs you downloaded ages ago and don't really use anymore, scan with the reg cleaner, and fix any issues (DO save a backup as offered).

Defrag the HDDs, I use Defraggler also from Piriform (both free!), but Microsoft do have a built-in one that can be just as good. Before you defrag it's a good idea to have as little running as possible, disconnect from t'interweb.

Also take a vacuum cleaner or air duster to the internals, being very careful not to knock anything, and don't blow too hard too close with the duster. Include fans/vents/filters if you have any. Obviously before you delve inside, turn it off, remove the power cable and wait for any lights that are on the motherboard to go out before you stick your hands in.

Yeah the drive is siting inside doing nothing since I disconnected it from all wires. It is beyond repair as far as all the programs I tried said (I tried a LOT) and was causing constant crashes, bsodm, hangs etc. I did all I could to make the system better. (I advise adcanced system care btw, its free and has a lot ofgood stuff in it)
http://www.crucial.com/systemscanner...74863231D926C3 Here is that sites result. If you don't see it I can make a screen.

Oh a bit offtopic but anyone from Kiel here? I'm going too Germany for a week tomorrow (My school sends everyone who learns German for one practice week). There is going to be some shopping in Kiel or some other nonsense. I really want to get to Laboe and see u995 but it's quite far and I won't make it on foot I guess. Maybe someone who's been there knows some kind of transport.

Alright since there's just 3 hour of sleep left for me I'm going to bed now. I will bump this thread in a week or so and report if I will make any progress. Thanks for all the help guys really appreciating it!

As I said in post #4. A later typo doesn't count if I got it right the first time.

Reminds me of when I bought my first 32Mb Nvidia card, that thing was top of the line when I bought it I just bought a Zotac 512Mb though to use in my old rig, it only cost me $59.99 at futureshop
