For me - Fleet command with the NWP mod. I dunno why but no matter how much I play DW, I just can't get into it.

For those who cannot get into DW or are thinking about buying DW, I suggest you get Sub Command first.
These two are very similar, with DW being more advanced, offers surface, airborne platforms as well as submarines. So why do I suggest you get Sub Command first? Because if you don't like SC you won't like DW. If you like SC, then get DW! You can get a used copy of SC for five bucks, shipping included. A second, more important reason, is that SC offers vastly superior tutorials. DW is designed for people with prior experience with SC! It expects you to know the basics up front. So, if you haven't played Sub Command and are thinking about playing Dangerous Waters, by all means, get Sub Command first! |
