Lol, too true. I remember once when I was very young, after a particularly dicey evening of repeated tornado scares, asking my dad where I could live that tornadoes would never get me. Can't remember his answer, but we got out the atlas so he could show me. Then he told me they had earthquakes there. This led to me hopefully pointing out various other spots on the map and him saying: "Nope, hurricanes... nope, active volcano... nope, monsoons..." until I realized that, as Roseanne Rosannadanna used to say, "It's always something."

so if some years have passed it nice to see that old stuff again when you reopen those boxes and dig through your own little history

Mookie, et al, you all appear to think that the good ol' US of A is the only place to live, but this is where you find your hurricanes, your tornadoes, your ferocious octopi, etc. Fear not there is another world in which is beyond your borders, and it's not all A-rab terrorists, or communists, or Canadians (some, but not all!)

In Blightly, we had a once in a blue moon earthquake - ooh a few pots fell over, hurricanes (apart from Michael Fish's in '87) are at the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, coincidently based where RAF Tornadoes were based, and as for octopi - we just cover it in a beer-batter, fry it and eat it! Perfectly safe

And we wont grill you for two hours at the airport on your arrival
