Geez, thorn, I hope you get better soon.

Makes me feel bad to say I spent most of the day on Lake Texoma with my dad and my little sister. It was a beautiful day for sailing, though. We anchored off one of the islands to watch the fireworks show and light a few of our own before going back to the marina for the dock party.

If it makes you feel better, I didn't get any beer at the party (babysitting) and we ran aground twice(shoulders still aching from rocking the boat off sandbars). We also broke our jib furler in big gust

A little humor in these situations is actually nice. I didn't mind the balloons or flowers. I wanted to laugh about it all myself but it just hurt too much. I got a string hanging out of my boy for God's sakes! It's like a mangina!!! How ridiculous is THAT!! HAHAHA!!!

That sucks man! Running aground is not good! Did it do damage to your boat?

Nah, it was just mud, and the boat has a swing-keel configuration. We've damaged it by hitting submerged rocks before but I'm sure you don't want hear about any subject like that for a long time

Well, I visited my mother at the rehab place, and then came home. The end.

Yeah, no more rock stories!

Glad your boat is not messed up though!

I like all kinds of crabs really. In fact, seafood in general I like a lot.
