Default How do you do long shots?

It tells me the range of the torpedos as up to like 12 or more KM's but when I shoot I usually use full speed and it never goes more than 3-4. Do you need to use the slowest speed to get the furthest range? It says from left to right 5 - 7.5 - 12.5 So how do you get those ranges?

No know how to use the different speeds I am just sorta thinking that the faster torpedo would go further since is covers 3x the distance in 1/3 the time but probably burns way more fuel.. Just wondering how it all works.. is the slow speed the longest range or the fast speed? I'll check out the mod. Thanks

If you think logicaly an engine in a torpedo can be likened to an engine in your car.

If you have a full tank of gas and drive at your cars top speed untill you run out of fuel, you will arrive at your destination quickly but you wont have travelled far.

If you drive there slowly you arrive at a later point in time but your petrol lasts longer and gives your car a greater distance travelled.

Therein lies the torpedo equation!
