What I'd like to see (Commandos)

A modern take on the Commandos series, in the form of a tactical/stealth shooter. Forget, uh, Commandos Strike Force, the closest thing I can think of is Hidden and Dangerous 2.
I wouldn't mind if they take the maps from the 2d games and re-create them in 3d because the change of perspective would already generate a different kind of gameplay.

Oh yeah....Commandos....hell, i loved these series. Felt a little bit like Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood first time I played it

Don´t know the title of the movie in english right now but in german it is " Agenten sterben einsam"

'Where Eagles Dare'. Good book, good movie. There was even a mission made after this, in Commandos 1 I think.

I'd say drop the cigar pack from the original games though. It was the most useful item in the whole game

Loved the concept of Commandos. Wasn't too keen on the execution.

I too wish someone would make a good tactical/stealth shooter, Commando-themed or otherwise, but nobody seems to be able to make them well.
