Aye, well, it lingers

Hey, I'm in Ipswich territory, can't let a Norwich player off lightly, even if he's a Gunner now.

Arsenal are 'Gunners'

West Ham are 'Hammers'

Newcastle are known as the "Toon" or "Toon Army"

It's because of the way Geordies pronounce "town" I believe.

But then I'm a Gooner so what would I know lol

Correct

The passion for football in the north east and especially Newcastle is second to none in the UK.

Starved of success and trophies since 1969 doesn't dent the fact most teams in the UK look upon Toon attendance figures with envy.

Despite the fact Newcastle were playing in the second highest division last season (having just been relegated from the premiership) we still had the 4th highest average attendance in the country.

We bounced straight back to the premiership this year so I don't envisage any change in that department

(some adult audio content-swearing)

The one and only Blaydon Races:

Went to the chemist for some condoms...
Got the Robert Green ones, extra slippery and guaranteed to catch **** all!
----------------------------------------------------------------

Rob Green is going to have to tolerate all the jokes being made about him.

It's not like he can do anything to stop them.
------------------------------------------------------------

You've got to hand it to Rob Green...

If you don't he'd probably drop it

Widespread flooding accross Scotland,Wales and Ireland on Saturday evening is now known to have been caused by several million people pi$$ing themselves laughing.

The Firm doesn't travel well these days, they seldom if ever leave London....none of them do.

Millwall average attendance last season 10834 (less than 25% of Newcastle).

I've only ever experienced two opponents causing 'riots' in the city....Chelsea and Glasgow Rangers, and that was many years back.

Soon sent em packing
