Started a new carerr after my previous skipper took a destroyer shell to the face, and made it back to 11/1939 only to find myself in command of the infamous u-48. happily and eagerly slapped the appropriate emblem on her, and started on my next patrol. in the dull moments on the way to my area of operiation, im wondering, does anyone know the story behind u-48's emblem? what does the 3xblack cat signify? i've done a breif google on it, but came up empty.

I believe 3 black cats brought luck to the crew and the boat. Unlike a single black cat that would bring bad luck to the crew.

Never thought of the superstitions surrounding black cats, and that could be it after all. meeting 3 black cats in succession is supposed to bring favorable times for you.
