Default A little mod..but very nice to have

One addition I would like to see, that we had in SH3. was the external view camera that followed the boat instead of remaining stationary.

It's broken, hopefully Ubisoft will fix it.

You just have to map a key to it. Advanced Shift Keys mod lets you switch from ship to ship like in SH3 and I think that catches the sub too, the problem is that it really is broken, so if you don't go into ext camera mode first, you break your avatar.

Not when I'd tried it, but TDW's teleport functions worked for resetting your position if you use the NewUI mod.

sounds good, should i map this with DBSM 1.2 ?

...on the other hand, this could also be scripted, hit button, teleport to externalview, teleport to fixed outside view.

I use the Keyboard deutsch 0.6F and the next/previous unit cam (with zoom) since Ruby2000 release it and it's a very nice feature. No problems with it.

Thank you Ruby2000.

OK. I need to activate external view first and then I hit "," to activate the unit cam.
Example: I'm in periscope view, then I hit "F12" (stock F2) , then "," and after this I need to hit "F12" again and then i'm able to go back to periscope view.
It's ok. No problem for me.

In SH4 if you hold CTRL while left clicking ANY unit (including yours) the camera will lock onto it. Is this still true in SH5?
