Fleet week 2010 Portland, OR

I'm typing this post from the crew quarters of my PT-boat. Man I love wireless internetz! I'll post a few photos now and videos when I get home sunday, as the internet connection is slow. (but free

)

Highlites so far:
Took 3 Admirals for a ride (1 3 star, 2 1 star from 3rd Strike Fleet). I earned 2 fleet battle coins.
Escorted USS Bunker Hill, USS Sampson, and HMCS Vancouver into port.
Spending 4 days on the PT-boat.
4 days worth of WW2 vet stories.
Liberty with real Navy personel at an Oyster Bar.
Cigars at Kells Irish Pub (note- this pub is monitored by M-5,as they fund raise for the IRA).
Helped clear out a log jam from the boat.
Watched Pt-109 on a real pt boat.
Played SH-4 in the crew quarters.

River debris: It rained nearly the entire time there (except for Saturday) and there was tons on log debris in the river causing log jams with the boats.
