re-enable contact reports RFB20 RSRD?

hi!

I'm wondering whether it is normal to no longer incoming reports about ships in the vicinity. I sometimes get infos like "ships are due to depart cam ran bay and are heading to brunei", but not one single map contact in my vicinity. is this intentional with RFB2.0 /patch and RSRD575 + RSRD5xx patch?
