Default Delete pages in the recognition manual?

Is it possible to delete some of the less important ships in the recognition manual so you dont have to through so many trying to find the right one?

Yes, it's possible.

First though. Are you using manual targeting and manual ID?
If you are not, then you can click on the targeting notepad (top right) where is says (IIRC) SHIP (or similar) and it will take you directly to the correct entry page in the Recog Manual.

Otherwise, list the entries you want gone then navigate to their ship folder in the installation directory and move the TGA file that details the recog manual entry. You may have to edit a cfg file in there too.

Can't be anymore specific than that at the moment, I'm nowhere near my GWX files.

Use the olc or magui then you don`t have to search for a ship in the manual.

sil.tga

Like I said though, you might need to edit a cfg file. Otherwise you might end up with a blank page etc.....try & see what happens.

Do you know which cfg file and how?
The one in the same folder as the tga file looks like this:

[Unit]
ClassName=PBTrawler
UnitType=0
MaxSpeed=12
Length=47
Width=6.2
Mast=15.8
Draft=2.5
Displacement=480
RenownAwarded=25

[2DCompartments]
UnitPos=137,12,237,16
NbOfComp=1
Name1=Keel
Area1=203,5,93,11

IIRC every ship HAS to have a page in the rec manual - or we would have got rid of the duplicates for lit units in GWX3
Deleting the TGA leaves a blank page
And AFAIK there is no cfg you can edit

But then I have been wrong before

I do believe in this case you are correct
