Default [needed] beaten up hull model as damage model

I had a thought...

could we make a bumped in damage model instead of showing the interior of the sub ? look at the tower, you see that the outer hull is sometimes sucked inwards due to pressure/DCs

I think that would be most realistic after a DC attack

I would think it's something worth trying but I don't know how to make a bumped and beaten damage model
that I can do easily but we'd need it to show up after a DC attack

any clues ?

Old thread on this as I had asked the same question back then. Here

A few responses worth looking at, including one from tater. But in the end nothing came of it as it did not seem to be possible.
