Default SH5 Stopwatch fixed

Impressed.. they took something from SH4 that wasn't working right and fixed it in SH5.

In SH4 the torpedos would hit 5 seconds after the stopwatch said it should have made contact.

SH5 is right on.

Nice.

In sh4, the stopwatch apparently is a quartz model (in '41). Curious, did they fix that and make the second hand do a continuous sweep in sh5, instead of ticking away one second at a time?

Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong... I wasn't aware that watches behaved that way back then.

I believe the first watch with a quartz movement was the Seiko Quartz-Astron 35SQ, introduced in 1969. I would expect the vast majority of mechanical watch movements to have a "continuous sweep" second hand.
Is it a continuous sweep in sh5, or does the second hand move once per second (anyone)?

Just fired up the game to check and it's continuous

Thanks a lot, I'm happy to hear that. The stopwatch is an immersion killer for me in sh4. I guess making it continuous sweep would be tough to mod.
