FPS Help

Hello Captains!
I recently upgraded my Laptop to 4gigs of Ram,SHIV is fantastic now with settings on max and almost no lag! SHV is a different story however and is really laggy.

Can any of you save me some time and give me an idea as to what settings are FPS Killers?

Shadows seem to be the bugbear at this point. However the patch that is due out soonish is supposed to be fixing this. Try turning off shadows to start.
I haven't had any frame rate troubles myself, but have seen several threads with people having various issues.

You can also reduce antialiasing, it consumes lots ofgpu power...
One more thing, try disabling vsync

Captains,Thank You very much for the great pointers,my FPS have greatly improved on the bridge and outside the boat,inside is still a little laggy but much better!
