Looks good....only potential drawback being, you know the outcome/ending.

You seldom see films now that offer more than one ending.

From the reviews and footage I've seen, I'll be making my way to see it. Might be a good one for ANZAC day!

Well I convinced the missus and we went to see it Friday night. Not a bad flick, fairly unpretentious and as far as I can tell it stuck accurately to the diaries of the main character.

Looking at what they did was truly amazing. I won't spoil too much but I will say the battle front scenes and the tunnelling was well done.

In real life the story hasn't ended yet. One of the mines, packed with tones of expolsive, didn't go off! It's still there (sealed off), but it could still go bang one day!
