Default It'll make ya seasick !

Try this for fun...

Get down on the deck in some moderate weather...

Move up to the bow as far as you can go. You should be able to see nothing but water. No sight of the sub.

Now turn the UI off with shft+z and just watch it for a little bit

For more fun move close to the screen so it fills your visual field

Oh yeah Steam, I've done exactly that. And yes it can get to ya after a bit.
It's one of those cool things one can do in SH5 that we couldn't in previous versions, though I always wanted to see what it was like way up there, or at the stern for that matter.
And sometimes its fun to hang off the side of the conning tower too and just look around.

Belive it or not we carried out an attack on a convoy in this.

if you start feeling seasick... go down to the bilge and watch the water slosh back and forth. You see, the water will give your brain an idea of where the horizon is and you won't feel seasick anymore!

(that was so much fun to do to the new guys.)

// wasn't so funny when I was the new guy though.

I sometimes start feeling sea-sick if watching the waves too much. I notice it happens more if i turn off all the lights except for the display.

Thought it was just me.

Look for the wooden step slats on the open safety railing. Thats where you start go go down

It might take a little wiggeling and looking up/down similar to the other ladders.
